Welcome to Sea View Sweets ’n’ Gifts 🍬🍦🎁
We are a small, independent family-run business based in the beautiful surroundings of Seaham Marina, with lovely sea views and even its very own little beach! 🌊⚓🏖️
But we're certainly not just a sweet shop! 😁
Over the years our little business has grown into a wonderful mixture of sweets, ice cream, gifts, handmade and personalised products, 3D printed creations, beauty products, printing, stationery and design — and we're always thinking of something new to add! 😂💡
🌊 Our Story
Our family has been involved in business and hospitality for many years, but in 2024 I decided to take another leap of faith and buy our little sweet and gift shop at Seaham Marina. 🩷
When I first took over, I don't think I could have predicted just how much the business would grow and change.
I've always had a creative side and I'm constantly coming up with new ideas (sometimes probably too many at once! 😂), so little by little we started introducing more products and trying new things.
What began as a sweet and gift shop has gradually developed into the business you see today — while still keeping sweets, treats and friendly customer service right at the heart of what we do. 🍬💕
🍭 A Little Bit of Sweet Nostalgia
One of the things we absolutely love is seeing customers discover sweets they remember from their childhood. 🥰🍬
There's something special about hearing “I haven't seen these for years!” or watching somebody introduce their children or grandchildren to a sweet they loved when they were younger.
Alongside our traditional and old-school weigh-out sweets and Pick ’n’ Mix, you'll find novelty sweets, rock, fudge, chocolates, sweet gifts and plenty of other treats. 🍭🍫
We also create sweets for birthdays, celebrations and special occasions, including sweet cones and other sweet treats. 🎉🎁

As well as all those sweets, we serve scooped ice cream, Mr Whippy, milkshakes, cold drinks and more — perfect for enjoying by the sea. 🍦🥤
Summer can get incredibly busy, especially when the sunshine makes an appearance and everyone suddenly decides it's ice-cream weather! ☀️🍦😂

Over time we've continued expanding our gift range, so you never quite know what you might discover when you visit us or browse our website. 👀🛍️
We offer gifts for lots of different occasions, alongside handmade and personalised products including cards, plaques, bookmarks, keyrings, cups, coasters and lots more. 🎨🎁
We love being able to offer something a little bit different, and our ranges are constantly changing as we discover new products and come up with new ideas.

Creativity has become a huge part of what we do. 🎨🩷
We've expanded into 3D printing, which has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us! 🖨️🌈
We create a growing selection of fun and unique 3D printed products, and we're constantly experimenting, designing and trying something new.
We also offer printing, stationery and logo design services for individuals and other businesses. 💻🖨️✂️
This can include things such as logo design, business cards, flyers, stickers, QR code stickers, vouchers, business stationery and other printed items.
There's something really satisfying about somebody coming to us with an idea and being able to help turn that idea into something they can actually use for their business. 💡➡️🎨➡️🖨️

🦞 Our New Partnership with The Lobsterpot Holiday Let
We're delighted to have partnered with The Lobsterpot Holiday Let, a brand-new holiday let based here in Seaham and opening on 2nd October 2026. 🦞🏡🌊
Sea View Sweets ’n’ Gifts has been asked to create two special hampers — one for adults and one for children — which their guests will be able to add when booking their stay. 🎁🍬
We're really excited to be part of their new venture and to help give visitors coming to stay in Seaham an extra-special welcome.
For us, this is exactly what supporting local is all about — two independent businesses working together and supporting one another while showcasing what Seaham has to offer. 🌊🤝🩷

Christmas is definitely one of our favourite times of year! 🎅🎄🎁
We know it can also be an expensive and incredibly busy time for families, so we try to make Christmas shopping that little bit easier by offering lots of sweets, gifts and festive goodies to choose from.

☀️ Summer, Winter & Everything In Between ❄️
Being based at Seaham Marina means our seasons can be very different.
During the warmer months the Marina can be incredibly busy, but winter can sometimes be the complete opposite. That's one of the reasons our website and online customers are so important to our little business. 🩷
You don't have to live locally to support us either — we currently post orders throughout the UK 🇬🇧📦.
We also attend fairs and events when we can, taking a mixture of our sweets, gifts, handmade items and other products out on the road with us. 🎪🛍️
🌊 From a Little Sweet Shop to So Much More...
When I took over Sea View Sweets ’n’ Gifts in 2024, it was another leap of faith.
Since then, we've grown, learned new skills, introduced new products, invested in new equipment, worked with other businesses and discovered even more things we love doing. 🥰
We're still very much the sweet shop our customers know and love 🍬🍦 — we've just grown into something much bigger alongside it.
Today we're about sweets, ice cream, gifts, handmade and personalised products, 3D printing, printing and stationery, logo design, beauty products, local collaborations and supporting other small businesses. 🩷🩵
And knowing me, there'll probably be another new idea tomorrow! 😂💡
